So, I did a very poor job updating my website last year…a very poor job. I’ll just say that trying to keep up with twice as many photo shoots, photo editing, a blog, two kids, another part time job, a social life and finding out in October that I was pregnant with surprise baby #3 made a few things fall off the priority list…and that meant my website didn’t get updated. Thankfully, the most important information (pricing, kind words, about me and contact) all worked just fine and clients were still able to find my website and learn about my photography services.
I also want to take a quick moment to thank everyone who continued to follow and support my work on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. These social media tools really are wonderful when you are trying to run a small business. I also want to thank everyone who shared with their family members and friends about their wonderful experience with All Things, Simple. You, my clients, are the main reason I exist and continue to work. Thank you for all the kind words and posts of encouragement. This means so much to me and keeps me going when the comparing or perfectionism try to steal the joy. Yes, I know there are a lot of wonderful photographers in St. Louis. We all have our own unique style, way of doing business and client base. I am thankful for those who have supported me and push me to learn and try new things.
Ok, moving forward. I am happy to write that now is the time that I am finally updating my website. Yes, I am uploading more photos to the portfolio section, updating my pricing/investment and mini section. I’m taking one section at a time and thinking carefully and even praying through each update. I am so excited to share new photos with everyone and display more of my work. I have grown so much over the past year and I hope you can see this through my work. I am also excited that my pricing will represent my hard work and still be at a reasonable and affordable price. I am so honored by everyone’s support.
I will leave you all now to go and visit the updated www.AllThingsSimplePhotography.com site and check things out for yourself. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a session.
