You guys, I would recommend that you make the Pat Connolly Tavern a high priority on your ‘places to visit for lunch’ this summer! I was so honored when Joe, the owner and loyal client, asked me to come in and photograph the restaurant. Not only have they finished some major updates to the interior of the building but they have updated their menu and have become quite a family friendly place. The restaurant is clean, filled with natural light, family friendly bathrooms, games and other things for your kids to work on while you wait for your food, etc…. Oh yes, I didn’t get to the best part – the food!! I was honored to sample ALL of these wonderful food items (no alcoholic beverages for me for a few more weeks) and everything I tasted was SUPER yummy. The salad was amazing (A+) and that toasted ravioli was a hit for this STL girl. I can’t wait to take our family in for a nice lunch after a morning trip to the Zoo or play time at Turtle Park. I’ve tasted some good ravioli…but this toasted ravioli was a major HIT!
Did I mention that the Pat Connolly Tavern has a full bar and a private room upstairs for small parties or events?! I’m seriously trying to figure out when I can have a reason to throw a party!!
Remember, the Tavern is right accross the street from Turtle Park and the Zoo on Oakland Avenue.
