I am delighted to introduce to you 9 day old Gretchen on my blog this morning. Wow, she is one darling little girl. When I look at these pictures I am simply amazed at the miracle of life. To think that in 9 plus months this little angel was created, formed and developed into a tiny person is just a work of art. I am extremely honored to have had the opportunity to document this little ones first few days in the outside world. Again, she is simply beautiful.
I have been doing a lot of research and studying the art of newborn photography the past few months. I want to develop and expand this area of my photography services and Gretchen’s mommy agreed to let me practice my new skills on her little girl. I continue to learn so much and I am so thankful for this experience. While this little babe made me work really hard (she wouldn’t fall asleep and was super hungry) I still enjoyed my moments holding, swaddling and looking through my camera lens to capture her sweet movements and little smiles.
