My dear friend, Dee, is an Alderman in Sunset Hills. Every year she plans the Earth Day celebration and this year included a 5k run to help raise awareness for clean water around the world. As a gift to my dear friend I came and took a few photos from the run and Earth Day event. What a great morning. The weather was beautiful, the trees were in bloom and everyone did a fabulous job with the run. It was so nice to see people of all different ages participate in the run. Maybe I will join them next year…maybe. Enjoy the photos.
