I want to take a minute to share some photos of our Bailey dog. Sadly, we had to put her down yesterday evening after a string of unfortunate events. I will not go into details but it was clear to us and others (including the Vet) that something was wrong and it was her time. We are so thankful for her almost 10 years of life. We are thankful for the influence she has had on our family. She has been our protector, couch pillow and best of all, our friend. The kids loved her and while they were sad to let her go, they will always look back at these photos of their Bailey and remember how much she meant to them. I think Preston said it best yesterday: “Mom, Bailey was my football watching buddy. I’m going to miss her”. Yes, we will all miss her.
These pictures were taken yesterday afternoon when we knew that it would be our last day with her.
